Knowing God’s Voice

John 10:27- My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

The Bible says that we should know the voice of God. In order to hear and know his voice, that will require us to spend time in prayer and studying his Word. Once we do, we will be able to discern the thoughts and voice of God. We live in a world where we are bombarded with the thoughts and feelings of others almost every minute of every day. It is important to slow down, separate time and seek the face of God. Knowing his voice and receiving his instruction is a blessing that comes with very deliberate effort on our part. Isn’t it exciting that we have a God who desires to help us and give us direction? Let’s take advantage of that!
