Englewood Prayer Confession- Families
Tuesday
Father your plan of man’s reconciliation with you started with Abraham and his desire to have a family. God promised him that his family would be a nation that would bless the rest of the world. Through Abraham’s family and lineage came Jesus Christ, who died for all people to live eternally with you1. We now know that the family unit is important and can have profound effect on the world for generations to come. That is why we are lifting up, in prayer, all families and the concept of the family unit in the Englewood community.

We declare a restoration of marriage in Englewood. We declare that even from a young age, people are trained to understand the value and power of marriage. A couple that stands united in you can accomplish anything in life. Cause them to see marriage in the same light that you see it. They are not enticed by any lie that says marriage is not honorable, economically convenient or necessary. We confess that the culture of dating and casual sex is eradicated and shunned at all levels. We curse at the root demonic spirit of sexual perversion along with all subtle and obvious manifestations: lust, molestations, rape, incest, homosexuality and all others will have no authority over the people of Englewood to deceive them regarding God’s truth on sex, relationships and marriage. We loose spirits of purity, chastity and love to help receive your truth regarding relationships.

We declare that you are restoring the place of the fathers in the home. There is a firm foundation in each home that is provided by the father. We declare this man is competent, industrious, well providing and serves as the priest of his household before the Lord for his wife and children. He teaches his children what is right and encourages them in the things of God. Mothers are also wives and minister to the needs of their children and so that they rise up and called her blessed and her husband praises her2. We confess that the children are blessed and taught of the Lord all the days of their lives. Their parents intercede for them daily and provide an excellent Godly example they can follow.

Galations 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse
for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing
of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the
promise of the Spirit through faith.
2 Proverbs 31:27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread
of idleness. Pro 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and
he praiseth her.
