Englewood Law Enforcement Personnel Confession

Father we thank You for every law enforcement personnel in the Englewood community. We lift them up in prayer before You so that they receive the courage, faith and love required to execute their job in excellence. We speak a hedge of protection about them and declare that the Angel of the Lord encamps around each one and delivers them in the time of trouble[1].

We come against any spirit that would try to bring fear and anxiety to Your appointed servants and we loose faith in their hearts so that they believe that no weapon formed against them will ever prosper[2].

We pray that all officers on the street or in administrative positions will walk in Your blessings of abundance because of the job they taken to defend and preserve order in this community.  For You said in Your word, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God[3].” Therefore, we speak blessings over their households and in their families. Every area of their lives is blessed including their finances, relationships and careers. We declare the blessing of God to manifest in their mental, emotional and spiritual health so that they can prosper in all areas of their being.

We now pray for change and betterment in this community according to Your power to deliver it from crime, violence and depravity. We declare, this day, that there is an unusually high rate of crime reduction that takes place quickly because of precise tips, accurate timing, the folly of wrongdoers and other divine events that work to bring peace in the Englewood area.

We decree that all the circumstances are favorable for the decrease of crime in the community. There is mutual deference and respect between civilians and police offers; there is no strife or contention between the two and each is genuinely interested in promoting the wellbeing of one another for their mutually beneficial alliance helps keep everyone safe. Because we believe that all law enforcement personnel are anointed and empowered by God  to execute justice in the land [4], we declare that all laws- local, state and Federal allow officers to exercise the right to defend the community in the most beneficial, effective manner.  Lastly, we declare that all police officers are empowered, by love, to help uplift and protect Englewood by their faith in God and His desire to bring freedom and justice to oppressed areas.

We declare and believe that Jesus is Lord over Englewood, Chicago and that according to Isaiah 60:18-

Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.

Englewood is a safe, restored place to live and work!
