One Truth & One God- There’s No Mixing Doctrines

Let’s be clear,  everyone and everything who uses the familiar
“religious” buzzwords- “God”, “Jesus” and the “Holy Spirit” may or may not be rooted in the truth of the ONLY truth- The Word of God. There’s no mixing the Bible with Buddhism, New Age Meditation, Positive Affirmation,  etc. You can read all the philosophies, get all the opinions, but there is one truth, one God and one way to get there. Jesus is the Son of God, the Word of God in flesh. There is NO other way to know God or the life he desires to give you, period.

God’s truth, the only truth is compelling and life changing. So guess what? More than a few people have figured this out. In order to draw the masses to their flavor of the truth, they’ve mixed biblical doctrine with their philosophies in order deliver a watered down version of truth that feels good, but has no boundaries, no love  and totally omits the  essential aspect of Jesus’ death on the cross.  Because of this, people are amazed, but rarely do they ever experience positive, lasting life changes. Why? The doctrine is based on quasi-truth that, by design, cannot bring deliverance or healing. Many of the same self-help gurus themselves fall pray to instability of their self-engineered dotrines- divorce, poverty and utter ruin have been their fates. You simply cannot strip the truth of its core elements: the atoning sacrifice of Jesus’ death, holiness and faith in God’s Word, to name a few.

II Timothy 3:7 tells us about a generation whose ears are itching for more truth, but usually a “truth” devoid of real substance, ” …ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Before we jump on the band wagon of THE new thing, let’s be sure to have our bibles handy so we can discern the truth at all times. After all, Matthew 12:33 tells us, “….for the tree is known by [his] fruit.”

Mingling seed and intermeddling doctrines, there’s no mixing the Bible with Buddhism, New Age Meditation, etc. You can read all the philosophies, get all the opinions, but there is one truth
